Jean representing his work proudly at the Mystic Art Festival last Saturday. Record downfall had us pack up on Sunday, but we got to share the art of this talented artist with thousands of art goers. He absolutely loved watching people walk by, read his story and gaze at his work. We met lots of people who had a connection with what they saw or read and it was an amazing experience to hear how much they appreciated the work, patience and creativity of Jean. Thank you to our beautiful friends and family who came or shared their energy from afar. Special thanks to Laurrie Cozza for her framing expertise and guidance. Thank you to Kristen Wallerius for your help and support. Thank you to the Wagners for all your support and to Pete for those heavy lifting muscles... those frames get heavy! Morgan Hann and Jamie Andersen, thank you for hanging, supporting and helping the set up effort. Thank you to Isabella Rakowski for coming up to Mystic and sharing this experience with us! Even though we did not set up on Main Street on Sunday, the Mystic Marriott was kind enough to let us display Jeans work in the lobby to be enjoyed by it's guests. And a big thank you to Ellayne Ganzfried, the Executive Director of the National Aphasia Association who made a special stop on her way to Foxwoods, to meet Jean and check out the collection.

We are so overwhelmed with the love and support of all our friends and family. Showing Jeans drawings at the art festival has been a dream of ours for years, as Mystic is a very special place for our family. We were welcomed, embraced and suported by the artists, the Mystic Chamber of Commerce memebers and of course all the festival visitors. We thank you all and hope you can help us share his inspirational art work and story as well as spread awareness of aphasia.

With love,
The Deer Family
